W01 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal Blog
The path of least resistance. This is a path that is address my Elder David A. Bednar in his speech "Your whole souls as an Offering Unto Him." This speech was given in 1999. He talks about this path in the context of our educational journey. He gives four examples of this in his speech, they are: 1. "Is this class an easy A", 2. "please tell me exactly what I have to do to get a good grade on this paper?", 3. "Who is the easiest teacher in this department?" 4. "I have calculated my total points for the semester, and I only have to get a 75% on the final exam to keep my A in the class." This was an important lesson that I have learned before but was reminded of in the first week of this class. Good grades do not come from a lack of effort, they come from going the extra mile and putting in the extra effort necessary. This is a 3 credit class and so expects 9 hours of work each week.
