W04 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal

This week there were three important concepts I learned that I want to apply for the rest of this semester and for my future life opportunities.

1. Creating a strategy for my life.

This concept is pretty self explanatory. Strategy is a plan of action. It is a natural instinct for us to create strategy. Whenever opportunities arise, good or bad, we create a strategy to overcome them. For example, last semester in school I took a class that encouraged us to create our grad plan in order to have all of our classes lined up and help us stick to the plan. This can be considered a strategy. I made a plan of action for me to be able to graduate. Some of the other actions to this strategy would be to get a job in order to pay for school, create an plan each semester on when to study and get my homework done on time. As I follow this strategy the steps to graduating will fall into place.

2. "We must pay attention to the small things that will help us to grow and develop in our relationship with God." - Joseph B. Wirthlin.

This was the second concept I took away from this week. Our relationship with God is a vital part of our steps to being successful in this life. God knows what is best for us and wants us to be able to succeed. If we have a good relationship with him then we will be guided to make choices that will lead us to the moments in life we are needed to be. I love how in this little quote it tells us we need to pay attention to the small things. There are a lot of big things we can do, but if we focus on the small things God puts in our path then it will multiply our relationship with Him.

3. Keeping a notebook on myself.

This was the last concept. It goes hand in hand with the other concepts also from this week. I want to be better at keeping notes and a journal about my life activities and lessons I learn. I look forward to learning more about paying attention to the small things in life and how to always have a strategy. I know writing things down helps us remember things so my hope is that keeping this notebook will help me remember the steps to applying myself in this world test.
